WhatsApp new feature Verify Forwarded Messages with “Search The Web “. This year WhatsApp added a new search button in beta that will let you quickly verify the forwarded messages. It will use google search to verify the validity of the forwarded message.

WhatsApp new feature Search The Web is now pushed as a new update in some regions. Including this, they have added a magnifying glass next to the forwarded messages.
When you click on this magnifying glass, it will take you to the internet browser. Where You will see relevant news to your forwarded message.
WhatsApp said, this feature searches the related result by uploading your message for search. WhatsApp also told that, they will not be able to see the message you uploaded for the search.
Whereas end-to-end encryption will stay as it is. It will not affect your privacy. There are some rumors and theories circulating on the internet , this WhatsApp decision would result in reducing misinformation common in app.
It is the part of WhatsApp and continues efforts to re-establish authenticity in the platform. this new feature is only rolled in the following countries, Brazil, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US. It is available across Android, iOS, and WhatsApp Web.
