Elden Ring, is another successful release from FromSoftware.Inc has yet to receive the title of Game of Year. With its monumental success; FromSoftware.Inc has made its mark on the gaming industry. The industry that has seen a downfall since 2020 is now slowly rising back to its former glory.
FromSoftware.Inc, creator of Dark Souls and its sequels has yet made another release probably much tougher than its predecessors.
This game made its mark right after its release has won the favor of so many reviewers that none of them were 1% irritated with the gameplay.
The monster dragon Smarag covering the Liurnia of the Lakes can be a devastating opponent as shown in the video below:
Elden Ring Vs other Games
Elden Ring, due to its difficulty and complexity has easily surpassed games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Sifu with a map so vast that after its release one month from now; 99% of people have not been able to end the game.
Most people couldn’t even find all the bosses; even though different speed runs have been made, the game has retained its position to be one of the most difficult games of the decade.
Elden Ring Game of the Year
Much like Red Dead Redemption 2, the game is so vast that gamers would keep exploring the worlds and it wouldn’t quench their thirst to complete this game 100%.
The character customization much evolved from Dark Souls has now people amazed with the options available for gamers.
Elden Ring has upgraded its weapons system so much that a Dark Soul fanatic would easily feel that FromSoftware.Inc has fulfilled its purpose but who knows with Unreal Engine 5,
this fantastic universe could be brought to reality with more enhanced graphics and realism. But for now, this game is an absolute masterpiece and very well deserving of Game of the Year.
Elden Ring’s diversity will be challenged with many anticipated games coming in 2022 but I believe none will get you excited more than this game.
Trust me, I’m not a Dark Souls fan but boy does this game gives me the chills. Elden Ring was released on February 25, 2022, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
