It appears to be exactly the same in all respects as the one I received with my laptop purchase. It a been functioning fine except I only use it once in awhile at the office. I don’t want to be carrying a power cord around all the time so I leave one at the office and one at home . Since APPLE is listed as the seller on the Amazon listing, I would imagine it is “certified” by Apple. I use my home charger almost every other day for 4 years now with no problem.
